All secret codes to control your android phone
Android phones work with codes that you use via the phone app to get information about your smartphone or to access special settings. Some codes work for all Android devices, while others vary by phone brand. We discuss what you can do with the codes.

Man Machine Interface Codes
If you’ve ever changed your SIM PIN or extended the “ringing time” — that is the time that elapses before callers reach your voicemail — you may have used a code in the Phone app. These are so-called ‘USSD codes’ that differ for each provider. Such codes allow you to communicate directly with your provider’s servers to adjust settings for your telephone services.
In this article we are talking about a variant of the USSD codes, namely the ‘Man Machine Interface codes’ (MMI). This allows you to quickly access your phone’s information and settings, but unlike USSD codes, MMI works completely offline.
Generic Codes
MMI codes are part of Android, but often the different manufacturers add extra features. However, there are also brands that do not or hardly use MMI codes at all. Google is such a manufacturer, so if you have a Pixel phone you can only use these generic codes.
You type in such codes via the phone app, and to activate them, press call. An important rule when in doubt about adjusting settings is that you first determine for yourself whether you understand what you are doing. We first give an overview of the generic codes:
- *#06#: shows the IMEI number, the unique identification number of your phone
- *#07#: shows the SAR values, or the radiation your device is exposing to your body
- *#*#225#*#*: shows the number of saved calendar events
- *#*#426#*#*: Shows diagnostic data about “Firebase Cloud Messaging”, a Google Play Services tool that many apps work with
- *#*#759#*#*: shows the RLZ debug UI
- *#*#4636#*#*: shows info about your phone, your (mobile) network connection and the apps used
ASUS codes
These codes only work on ASUS phones:
- *#07#: shows labels of the regulators
- .12345+=: starts engineering mode. You must enter this in the calculator app. Engineering mode gives you access to more settings than developer mode on your phone
Motorola Codes
These codes only work on Motorola phones:
- *#*#2486#*#*: starts engineering mode. Engineering mode gives you access to more settings than developer mode on your phone
- *#07#: shows labels of the regulators
Nokia codes
These codes only work on Nokia phones:
- *#*#372733#*#*: Opens the service mode, a test menu of the main functions of your phone
OnePlus Codes
These codes only work on OnePlus phones:
- 1+=: shows the Never Settle logo. Must be entered in the calculator app
- *#66#: shows the IMEI number, your phone’s unique identification number, but in an encrypted form
- *#888#: shows the PCB number of your phone’s motherboard
- *#1234#: shows the software version
- *#*#2947322243#*#*: clears your device’s internal memory (ed. use with caution)
Realme Codes
These codes only work on Realme phones:
- *#800#: opens the factory mode menu. Shows a lot of information about your phone
- *#888#: shows the PCB number of your phone’s motherboard
- *#6776#: shows the software version and more details
Samsung Codes
These codes only work on Samsung phones:
- *#0*#: opens the hardware diagnostics menu
- *#011#: shows information related to your network connection
- *#0228#: shows the battery status
- *#0283#: shows the packet loopback settings. A signal test
- *#0808#: shows the usb settings
- *#1234#: shows the software version and more details
- *#2663#: Shows an advanced menu about the firmware version
- *#7353#: shows the quick test menu
- *#9090#: shows advanced debug tools
- *#9900#: Shows the system dump mode. It can be used in certain circumstances to recover your phone thanks to an image of the ROM
- *#2683662#: shows the advanced service mode
- *#34971539#: shows the advanced camera firmware
Sony codes
These codes only work on Sony phones:
- *#*#73788423#*#*: shows the service menu
- *#07#: shows details about certificates
Xiaomi Codes
These codes only work on Xiaomi phones:
- *#*#64663#*#*: shows the hardware diagnostics menu
