Although Huawei’s share of the smartphone market has plummeted due to US sanctions, the brand is not giving up. New in the portfolio is the Huawei Nova 9. This will be available in Europe in November. We list the details.
On board the Huawei Nova 9 is a Snapdragon 778G chipset, which has to lack support for 5G due to the trade restrictions. It all happens on the 6.57-inch OLED screen that offers a Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is assisted by 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage.
The design of the Huawei Nova 9 seems to be inspired by that of Xiaomi. We are referring to the camera module, in which the 50 megapixel camera can be found. There is also an 8 megapixel wide-angle lens and two 2MP cameras for depth and macro. On the front is a 32 megapixel front camera. Furthermore, there is a 4300 mAh battery with 66W charging; also there is Bluetooth 5.2 on board the Huawei Nova 9.
Out of the box, the Huawei Nova 9 comes with Android 11, with EMUI 12. Unfortunately, the Google services are still lacking due to the trade restrictions. The smartphone should be available in Europe for 499 euros in November. The smartphone should be available in more regions in the coming months.
