Nokia X20, 7.2 and 2.2 receive April security update

A new security patch is being rolled out for three Nokia devices. It concerns the Nokia X20, the Nokia 7.2 and the Nokia 2.2 that all see the April update roll in.

HMD Global has started distributing the April 2022 security update for three of its smartphones. Marcel reports that his Nokia X20 has now received the update. It is a modest update, measuring 33.1 MB in size. Judging by the information in the changelog, it becomes clear that apparently no further changes or new features have been added.

The update is now also being rolled out for the Nokia 7.2 and the Nokia 2.2. The mid-end and low-end smartphone will also receive the April update, although this will still be done in phases. This means that you may have to wait a while until every user receives the update. If this is the case, you will receive a notification on your device.
