New security update for Samsung Galaxy A21s, M21, A42, Tab S6 Lite and more

Samsung has prepared a new update for a lot of devices. Users of various tablets and smartphones are offered a newer security update than what their device is already running on. This mainly concerns devices that are not updated monthly with an update.

Updates at Samsung

Samsung has restarted the update machine and that results in a lot of updates for multiple devices. We receive messages from a lot of readers, including Theo, Bram and Simon that a number of devices have been updated with a new security update. All devices in this article concern the September 2021 security update. In addition to the patches from Google, this update also contains the patches from Samsung itself.

The update is available for the following smartphones and tablet; in the Netherlands and Belgium it will roll in on the Galaxy A42. Users of the Samsung Galaxy A21s, Galaxy A7 (2018) and the Galaxy M21 can also welcome the update on their device. Tablets are also not spared with the September update. The new security patch will be available for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.
