New details on Moto G31, Moto E40 and Moto G Pure

Three new models are on the way from Motorola. Thanks to early reports, we learn more details about the Moto G31, the Moto E40 and the Moto G Pure.

Three new Motorolas

Motorola has already announced a large number of new devices in recent times. The manufacturer does this almost continuously. Various devices will also be presented in the coming months. Thanks to information from various sources, we are now learning more about this.

Moto G31

We start with the successor to the Moto G30. The Moto G31 will be the name of this device and will have a triple camera with a 50 megapixel main lens. This becomes clear as a result of information from the NCC inspection body. Furthermore, the Moto G31 will receive a 5000 mAh Li-Po battery, a 10W charger and a 3.5 millimeter connection. The smartphone will have a fingerprint scanner on the back.

The Moto G31 will be a 4G device, so there is no support for the 5G network. According to the source, the device will cost around 180 euros; and that’s the same price as the G30.

Moto E40

An expansion is also planned for the Moto E series, in the form of the Moto E40. This phone will cost less than 200 euros and will have a 6.5-inch IPS-LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. There is a Unisoc T700 chipset, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Despite these reasonable specs, Motorola chooses to deliver the Moto E40 with Android Go.

For photography there is a triple camera with 48MP main lens and two 2MP cameras. Motorola gives the Moto E40 a 4000 mAh battery with 10W charging, a 3.5 millimeter connection and a physical Google Assistant button.

The third model we can update you on is the Moto G Pure. We know that Motorola gives the device a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen. There is a Helio G25 or P22 chipset, 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage space. The camera has two lenses; a 48MP lens and a 2MP depth lens. Not very special specs, but it is extra striking that Motorola would opt for an AMOLED screen with the Moto G Pure.

A 4000 mAh battery is also expected with the Moto G Pure, which can be charged with 10W. Motorola will reportedly price the smartphone at 250-300 euros, which would be very expensive given the specs. We will probably hear soon if this is indeed the case.
