Many security patches and updates are released every week and we have listed them for you in this article. This time it’s the turn of Samsung, Poco and OnePlus phones, among others.

Samsung

Samsung has started rolling out the August security update. The update is available for the Galaxy phones below and the update for the Galaxy Fold is on the way.

• Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite – August security update
• Samsung Galaxy S20 – August security update
• Samsung Galaxy S20+ – August security update
• Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra – August security update
• Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 – August security update
• Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 – update with improvements to stability, ambient sound during phone calls and more

Nokia

Nokia has, among other things, a version update ready for the Nokia 5.3. This phone is running Android 11. Thanks for the tip, Louis!

poco

The Poco X3 Pro is currently receiving a security update along with MIUI 12.5.2. Xiaomi mainly introduces improvements for system performance with MIUI 12.5. The software uses the processing power of your device more efficiently, which should lead to better performance. In addition, you can remove pre-installed apps with this software.

Xiaomi

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also gets an update to MIUI 12.5.

OnePlus

The OnePlus 8T will receive an OxygenOS update with firmware version 11.0.10.10. This update includes a screenshot feature for the Always On display, improvements to the camera’s portrait mode, and the August security update. Other OnePlus phones will also receive an update and it will be rolled out gradually.
