Xiaomi hid a 20-megapixel selfie camera in a curved 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The solution required a completely new type of flexible display and a sophisticated array of circuits and a new pattern of micro-diamond pixels. This maximized transparency and light penetrated all the way to the camera’s selfie sensor.
Other display features include 480 Hz touch response, 10-bit color, True Tone, Dolby Vision, 500,000: 1 contrast ratio and HDR10 +. All these technologies are covered by the latest toughened Gorilla Glass Victus glass. Of course, the display also includes an optical fingerprint sensor, which is now standard in cheaper smartphones. The back is ceramic in black, white or gray. There is also water and dust resistance of the IP68 standard.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will also please with its camera and performance
There is a camera with three sensors on the back. The 1 / 1.33-inch main sensor has a resolution of 108 Mpx, an aperture of f / 1.95 and optical image stabilization. It has a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens with a 120 ° angle of view and f / 2.2 aperture. An 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical, 100x digital zoom and optical image stabilization is used to capture distant subjects.
The smartphone also surprises with its performance. The latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chipset adds up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and internal non-expandable UFS 3.1 memory of up to 512 GB. The 4500 mAh battery, in turn, boasts support for fast 120 W wired and 50 W wireless charging. In the case of wireless charging, Xiaomi promises to charge from 0 to 100 percent in 28 minutes and in the case of cable charging in 15 minutes.
Other equipment includes 5G, Wi-FI 6, NFC, UWB, Harman Kardon stereo speakers, Hi-Res Audio and an infrared port. The system is in the Android 11 version with the MIUI 12.5 extension. Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will start selling on the Chinese market on August 16 at a price of 650 euros to 830 euros according to memory. Availability and prices in the global market have not yet been announced.
