Apple Introduces Stella Low, New Vice President of Communications
Apple updated its site listing the directors of the company to add Stella Low, who is the vice president of communications. She joined Apple in May, but only appears on the company’s site today.
Stella Low is therefore the vice president of communications at Apple and reports directly to Tim Cook. She is responsible for Apple’s global communications strategy and leads the public relations team as well as employee communications.
In her presentation, Apple says Stella Low has over 30 years of experience in marketing and communications. She was Vice President and Director of Communications at Cisco before joining Apple. She also held senior positions at Dell and EMC prior to that. This Briton holds a BA in Business Studies from South Bank University in London. She sits on the Board of Directors of the San Francisco Bay Area Division
of the American Heart Association.
Stella Low succeeds Steve Dowling. He joined Apple in 2015 as vice president of communications and left the company in October 2019. Phil Schiller temporarily held the position between the departure of Steve Dowling and the arrival of Stella Low.
