Huawei finally plans date announcement of new Huawei P50 series

Finally, Huawei has released more information about the announcement of the Huawei P50 series. The manufacturer shares a date when we will get acquainted with the new models. The date has been postponed several times before.

It always seemed that Huawei would come up with the new Huawei P50 series in the foreseeable future. The manufacturer has been in the news several times with the new smartphone series. Rumors and teasers appeared, but a date was not forthcoming. Until now, because now that date is available: July 29. On that day, Huawei will announce its new high-end smartphones from the Huawei P50 series.

The reason that the date was always postponed can have several reasons. First of all, there is a worldwide shortage of chipsets. It is not known which chipset Huawei will use, but the manufacturer may fall back on Qualcomm for some models. Of these, they are only allowed to use the 4G chipsets, since 5G chipsets cannot be purchased by Huawei due to the American trade restrictions. The proprietary Kirin chipsets would also be scarce.

It is clear that the new smartphone series will be equipped with HarmonyOS. Due to the lack of Google Mobile Services, the enthusiasm for Huawei has greatly diminished in our country and the rest of Europe. It is therefore questionable whether we will also see the Huawei P50 series in the Netherlands. In addition, we consider it unlikely that Huawei will widely promote a flagship device with only 4G support.
