Google Pixel receives July security patches
Google Pixel phones are receiving the July security patch with a slight delay. So if you have Google Pixel 3 or later, you should have the update already available. This update does not bring anything dizzying, it fixes some of the bugs mentioned by Google.
Google Pixel and July security patches
Some users reportedly had problems that their phone was accidentally restarted, which this update should resolve. Since it came out in June Expected Pixel Feature Drop, which brought for example the Astrophotography mode or the option to lock the folder in Photos, the update does not bring us another. Of course, there are fixes for some bugs. If you don’t want to wait for Pixel to notify you of an update, go to Settings> Software Update and install it manually. You can also download security patches from androidauthority if they haven’t already.
