According to Android Central, some phones from Sharp, Tecno, TCL, and ZTE will also get access to Android 12 Beta.
Xiaomi and Samsung
Xiaomi has indicated here which Mi phones can participate in the beta program and, as usual, Samsung is not participating. This manufacturer will add some of its flagships to One UI beta later this year.
OnePlus and OPPO
OnePlus is rolling out the beta version of Android 12 to its latest flagships, the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro. The beta is available now and can be found here. OPPO is already offering the Android 12 beta for its Find X3 Pro. The manufacturer does indicate that the build is not yet stable enough for daily use. In addition, not all new functions of Android 12 are in the build yet.
Realme and Nokia
Just like last year, Realme only added one phone to the beta program. It is the Realme GT and this phone will receive the beta version of Android 12 from May 19. Since the device is only sold in China, it is unlikely that there will be many customers.
HMD Global is adding its Nokia X20 to the Android beta program with Android 12. Unlike most of the other phones above, the X20 isn’t getting the beta this week. HMD indicates that the Android 12 beta will be available for the device “later this year”.
That may be a bit disappointing, but it’s nice to see the brand joining the beta initiative. It should also help Nokia to tighten its update policy on version updates, HMD Global has already indicated.
ASUS
ASUS is participating in the Android 12 beta initiative this year, and the new ZenFone 8 gets the honor of being first. If you have a ZenFone 8, you can sign up for the Android 12 beta here.
