Capcom launches a new open beta of Street Fighter 6
Available since Friday May 19, 2023 in the morning, it will be accessible until May 22 at 9 a.m. (French time). Through this beta, players will be able to access the following content and game modes:
- Character creation
- Ranked Matches
- Matches between friends
- Battle Hub Matches
- Open tournaments
- Workout mode
- Merchandise Store Center
- Extreme Battles (Daily)
- Game Center (daily)
- Challenges (daily)
- DJ booth
- photo location
Furthermore, it will be possible play as 8 characters out of the 18 available on the final version. You will therefore be able to perfect your combat techniques with Luke, Jamie, Chun-Li, Guile, Ryu, Ken, Kimberly and Juri. In addition, players will be able to stick mandalas on 6 different terrains : Metro City Center, Genbu Temple, Byron Taylor Aircraft Carrier, Tian Hong Yuan, The Macho Ring and the Training Room. Let us also specify that this beta is cross-platform. In other words, PC, Xbox and PlayStation players will be able to play together.
How to create your Capcom ID to access the beta
Be careful however, to access its open beta, it is necessary to create and register a Capcom ID before associating it with your gaming platform. To do this, you will therefore have to go to the site auth.cid.capcom.com And follow the registration form.
Once this is done, follow the following procedure:
- Still on the Capcom ID site, log in and go to your Account page
- Scroll down the page to find the part “Association with external accounts”
- Click on the button Associate to link your PlayStation Network, Xbox or Steam account to your Capcom ID
- You will then need to log in with your credentials Sony, Microsoft or Steam for validate the association of the two accounts
