NS now also offers Group Ticket Off-Peak Hours in an app
The Dutch Railways (NS) has an update for the NS app ready in the Google Play Store. This update makes it possible to buy the Group Ticket Off-Peak Hours in the app.
What is the Off-Peak Group Ticket?
With the Group Ticket Off-Peak Hours you can travel cheaply with a group of 2 to 7 people during off-peak hours. According to the NS, this group ticket is an ideal and cheap way to buy a train ticket with friends or family. You choose the route yourself, the price is fixed. The main rule is that a fellow traveler always travels together with the main booker. Fellow travelers can board at the same time or at the next station on the chosen route. It is possible to purchase the return journey directly when purchasing the outward journey. The return journey may also be at a later date.
Until now, you could only buy this Off-Peak Group Ticket online and then load or print the e-tickets in the NS app. The NS now also realizes that most Dutch people do almost everything on their mobile and is now also offering the Group Ticket Off-Peak Hours in its app. You no longer need to load the e-tickets in the NS app, they are ready immediately.

- Tap on More (three dashes) at the bottom right
