Renders show iPhone 15 Pro Max
The famous tasty Ice Universe has published renders of the iPhone 15 Pro Max (or iPhone 15 Ultra). These computer images are based on information he received from insiders. Apple’s new flagship would have dimensions of 159.86 by 76.73 millimeters. This makes it slightly smaller than the iPhone 14 Pro Max, while the screen simply has a diameter of 6.7 inches. We owe that to somewhat thinner screen edges. Those edges are also slightly curved, although that effect is minimal.
The device would be a bit thicker: 8.25 instead of 7.85 millimeters. As a result, according to Ice Universe, the cameras would protrude less than on the current model, although this is not immediately visible on the renders below. The camera island will be slightly wider again anyway. It now takes up more than half the width of the iPhone.
As expected, the renders of the iPhone 15 Pro Max show a USB-C connection that replaces the Lightning port. Furthermore, the physical buttons are missing. There are still a virtual power button and volume buttons, but you can’t really press them. Yet you do feel them, thanks to special vibration motors. We know it from the home button on the iPhone SE 2022, for example. That probably makes it easier to make the smartphone waterproof. Such buttons are of course also less likely to break.
Here’s what you need to know about the iPhone 15 Pro Max
The iPhone 15 Pro Max will be the top device of the iPhone 15 series, which will probably appear in September. It gets a faster A17 processor, sturdy titanium edges and a periscope lens to zoom in further. Knowing more? We have listed all the rumors about the new smartphone for you.
