Google: These are the best Chrome extensions
The year isn’t quite over yet, but that hasn’t stopped Google from launching the Best Chrome Extensions of 2022 showcase. These are divided into the categories of productivity, focus, gaming and videos, and learning. Overall, Google selected and presented around a dozen extensions (source: Google).
When it comes to productivity, Google recommends taking a closer look at, among other things Tango and Swiftread. Tango makes it easy to create how-to guides, while SwiftRead trains users to read faster. The organizational tool Liner is also mentioned positively, along with the AI writing tool Compose AI.
For a more focused work in the Chrome browser introduces Google Workona Tab Manager and CrXMouse Chrome Gestures. The former extension can be used to bring order to the tab chaos, while the gesture extension can be used to create your own mouse shortcuts.
Google’s Chrome OS Flex breathes new life into old hardware:
Chrome extensions for gaming and videos
Summarized in the category gaming and video Google recommends looking at RoPro, which adds some unique features to the Roblox game. With eJOY, video subtitles can be displayed in multiple languages at the same time. This can be helpful when learning a language.
Learning is also central to the last category. With Equatio stands one helpful math tool ready while MyBib: Free Citation Generator automatically creates bibliographic references.
Google has many, but interestingly not all of the selected extensions on a subpage in the Chrome Web Store summarized separately.
