Apple Watch Pro: the 49 mm case compared to those of the Series 7/8
The Apple Watch Pro, which will normally be announced tomorrow during the keynote, will be entitled to a 49mm case. By comparison, the Apple Watch Series 7 (and Series 8 which will also arrive tomorrow) has 41mm and 45mm cases. Pictures unveiled by Sonny Dickson allow for a comparison.
Combined with the flat screen, a larger 49mm case for the Apple Watch Pro could result in an even bigger screen than the originally rumored 1.99-inch size. It could even turn out to be as big as 2 inches or more, which would easily make it Apple Watch’s largest display. By comparison, the 41mm Series 7 screen is 1.691 inches and the 45mm Series 7 is 1.901 inches.
Yesterday renders of the new watch showed that Apple will add a new button on the left edge. This one would be customizable to quickly launch a function, a physical exercise or something else. On the right side, the crown and the button will be more imposing, which would facilitate their use.
It remains to be seen now what the price will be for this Apple Watch Pro. It is not impossible that it is around 1,000 euros, although this remains to be confirmed. The answer will be revealed tomorrow by Apple during its keynote, to be followed live on iPhoneAddict from 7 p.m.
