Nokia T20 gets August update; Nokia 3.4 updated to Android 12

New updates are rolled out by HMD Global. Both the Nokia T20 tablet and the Nokia 3.4 see a new software update roll in. A security update with improvements for the tablet, the update to Android 12 for the smartphone.

Updates at Nokia

Two Nokia devices will be provided with a new update. Nokia T20 users see a new Android 11 build update rolling in. This is an improvement on the existing Android 11 build, because Android 12 is still not available for the tablet from the Finnish manufacturer. First of all, there is security update August 2022. The changelog also talks about improved system stability and improvements for the user interface. What this exactly means is not told; the update is approximately 30MB in size.

Nokia is also rolling out a new update for the Nokia 3.4. This is the update to Android 12, so you can take advantage of new functions and possibilities. Think of the Material You skin, the improved permission settings and several other possibilities. The update bundles the June update and this results in a more than 1.7GB large update that can be downloaded.

Updates are being rolled out in phases at Nokia. It may take a while until everyone sees the updates coming in.
