Google Photos adds feature for instant access to screenshots
A nice improvement has been added to Google Photos. Google’s gallery app has been quietly expanded with a feature that gives you instant access to your screenshots.
Screenshots in Google Photos
A small, but quite useful improvement is being rolled out to Google Photos. The latest server-side update adds an option that gives you instant access to the screenshots you’ve taken. Without having to open the app first, you can go directly to the screenshots stored on your device.
How this works All you have to do is press and hold the Google Photos icon in the menu or on your home screen. You will then see a number of quick options, including the option to view screenshots. With the push of a button you will be taken directly to the folder with screenshots. It is unknown if Google will put more albums under the hot key in the future so that you can access them directly.
