6.4 inch OLED screen for 229.99 euros

Motorola just announced the Moto G42. This phone with 6.4 inch OLED screen will fit a suggested retail price of 229.99 euros.

Moto G42

The Moto G family continues to expand, according to Motorola. With the Moto G42, the company wants to bring smarter technology to everyone. The phone will do this with a 6.4-inch OLED screen (60 Hz), supplemented with a Snapdragon 680 processor, a 5,000 mAh battery and an 18W charger.

The camera setup consists of a 50 MP main camera, an 8 MP wide-angle camera and a 2 MP macro camera. With the wide-angle lens you can capture a lot more in a photo and the macro lens takes photos from very close. The wide-angle lens also functions as a depth camera that can take portrait photos in which the background of an object is blurred.

The phone will be available in a variant with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB or 128 GB of expandable storage. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack and the fingerprint scanner is located in the power button. Like most Motorolas, this G42 also has an IP rating of IP52, making the device dust and (partly) splash-proof.

Buy Moto G42

You can buy the Moto G42 with 64 GB from the beginning of July in the Netherlands for a suggested retail price of 209.99 euros in the color Atlantic Green. The 128 GB version will be available in the colors Atlantic Green and Metallic Rose and costs 229.99 euros.
