GeoFort – Herwijnen, Gelderland

The GeoFort teaches children to deal with navigation, geography and cartography in a playful way. There is a playground, there are interactive exhibitions but above all: different mazes. For example, there is a Climate Maze where you try to escape from this maze full of “climate maps”.

Large Twentsch Corn Maze – Fleringen, Overijssel

Here you will be sweet for a while: this maze is laid out on approximately four hectares of cornfield. Just to be clear: that is more than five contiguous football fields. The challenge is to wander through the paths while looking for the large watchtower and on the way there are assignments and fun facts about Twente nature. When you reach the tower you get a beautiful view. There is also a large playground, flower picking garden and sandbox.

Maze Ruurlo – Ruurlo, Gelderland

A maze with history. Doolhof Ruurlo dates back to 1891. It was neglected for a long time, until it was restored in the 1980s and restored to its former glory. The courtyard consists of hedges and is immensely large: no less than 8740 m2. But don’t worry: the paths are about 5 meters wide, so that the complexity is not too bad and you will eventually get out again. And that’s great, because then you can also participate in archery (by appointment only).

Hof van Overveld – Prinsenbeek, North Brabant

This corn maze is part of the Hof van Overveld mini camping site. And it is a unique example: every year the owner comes up with a new theme to which a treasure hunt is linked. A few letters are hidden in the maze that form the solution. Open from mid-July.

Wander around in Corn Maze Voorthuizen, a mini amusement park with go-karts, bouncy castles and a fantastic corn maze every summer. In the middle of the cornfield is a high watchtower with a slide. The ideal picnic spot.

Fort Vertier – Harderwijk, Gelderland

You do that in Fort Vertier. In this Fort in Harderwijk you end up in a large climbing maze in which you want to reach all towers as quickly as possible. Easier said than done, because Fort Vertier is a 3D labyrinth with numerous entrances, walkways and paths.
