Oppo has announced the successor to the Oppo A16. The smartphone in question is the Oppo A71 and appears with a premium appearance, a large battery capacity and a price of 179 euros. What do you get for that money?

In Oppo’s A series, the portfolio has been expanded with the new Oppo A17. With this device, Oppo has a new participant in the affordable segment. All this for a price tag of 179 euros. Earlier we published a nice article on DroidApp with the best smartphones up to 200 euros.

The Oppo A17 has a fairly luxurious look with an almost flat back at the back. The camera lenses don’t stick out very far, it seems. The phone is equipped with a 50 megapixel main camera, complemented by a 0.2 megapixel lens. What that last camera is for is not reported, so don’t expect much from this. There is autofocus and an LED flash. The front camera has 5 megapixels with which you can take your selfies. Oppo supplies the A17 with a MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.

On board the Oppo is a 5000 mAh battery that should last a long time. Everything happens on the 6.56 inch LCD screen that offers HD resolution. The smartphone runs on Android 12, along with the ColorOS 12 skin. The Oppo A71 is delivered almost completely complete. For example, there is a screen protector on it from the factory, a silicone cover is included and the charger is also included in the sales package. You can buy the Oppo A17 for 179 euros. As of today, the device will be delivered and you can order it at Bol.com, Coolblue and MediaMarkt. There is a choice of light blue and what Oppo calls Midnight Black, but that seems more dark blue.
