50 € offered between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. in store, stupid idea or good find?

The stupid operation of the day comes from Bouygues Telecom. As you know, a curfew at 6 p.m. has been decreed by the government since January 16, 2021. It is in force throughout the country. Of course, this curfew is an additional blow for traders, who make a large part of their daily turnover between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Closing at 6 p.m. obliges, traders adapt and open earlier or between noon and 2 p.m. to compensate and avoid the influx of customers at 5 p.m. Some have even innovated to encourage customers to show up early. This is for example the case of Bouygues Telecom. The operator had the “good” idea to offer 50 € on the purchase of a smartphone + package for all customers who come to the store between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

50 balls in the morning between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.

This commercial operation is, according to the operator’s statements, a means of smoothing the attendance of its customers since the implementation of the curfew. Of course, theoffer is only available for a 60 GB plan or more with a 24-month commitment and it will end on January 23, 2021.

So let’s recap. In order to prevent customers from coming to the store in the evening, the operator offers 50 bundles to bring them in in the morning… It’s true, why create crowds in the evening when you can motivate customers to come en masse in the morning for a reduction of € 50? In writing, it is a little difficult to understand the logic of this operation.

Making an appointment is better

In any event, Bouygues Telecom has also set up an appointment booking system, with the possibility of setting the time of its visit to the store. Just go to the operator’s website. For once, this idea makes much more sense than this reduction of 50 € in the morning. Note that Orange was the first operator to set up a similar system, in order to streamline store visits.

As for SFR and Free, the two operators have chosen to open their respective shops an hour earlier, while the closure between noon and 2 p.m. has become history.

Anyway, to avoid having to travel in the event that you want us to change only your mobile offer, go for a walk in the Category Packages of the site: the offers are regularly updated and there is something for all budgets.
