OnePlus has announced the new OnePlus Ace. The manufacturer opts for a new series, in which the phone is immediately richly equipped with options. Think 150W charging.

After the device has appeared several times in the rumor circuit, the OnePlus Ace has been officially announced. First it was the turn of the home country China for which the phone was presented. It is thought possible that the phone will be unveiled next week under the name OnePlus 10R for other countries, including India. Whether Europe will also see this phone remains to be seen.
The phone will be released in the mid-range segment and is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Max chipset, which is assisted by 8/12GB of RAM and a maximum of 512GB of storage space. Apart from some improvements in the AI field, it is unclear exactly which improvements the 8100 Max offers compared to the normal 8100.
The OnePlus Ace offers a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ display, an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. You can choose from a blue or black color and there is a triple camera. This camera module offers a 50 megapixel main lens (with OIS), an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2 megapixel macro camera. The real power of the OnePlus Ace is in the 4500 mAh battery. This can be charged with no less than 150W; which is lightning fast. With five minutes of charging, the battery is again 50 percent full. According to OnePlus, the necessary battery protective measures ensure that safety is guaranteed. At least 80 percent of battery capacity should be retained after 1600 full charge cycles.
The device will be available in China for the equivalent of 360 euros.
