120 Hz displays also come in the middle class

We have great news for fans of the mobile world. Models from the South Korean giant Samsung and the Galaxy A model line are to be affected. Displays with a higher refresh rate above 90 Hz also fall into this category. Samsung is also preparing a novelty for us with a 120 Hz display and 5G support.

The Samsung 120 Hz screen will also add a 5G mid-range smartphone

The high refresh rate, often exceeding the 90 Hz milestone, is also found in cheaper devices, such as the POCO X3 or the OnePlus Nord or Nord N100.

So far, Samsung has implemented these panels mainly in its more expensive flagships. That’s why it’s great that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 smartphones will have 90 Hz screens.

By the way, according to the SamMobile website, we can also look forward to the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, which promises a 120 Hz panel. You may now be wondering why Samsung preferred 120 Hz in the 5G edition. The answer can be very simple. This will be due to the use of a more powerful chipset under the hood of the smartphone.

It should be powered by a Snapdragon 750G processor. The other mentioned models are to be characterized by the Snapdragon 720G chip. Slowly but surely, we are entering a period when people are getting used to smoother displays. 60 Hz will soon be an obsolete parameter of the display of a smart mobile phone.

For example, last year’s Galaxy S20 had a Quad HD + display and had a maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz. However, you could only turn it on if you switched to a less fine, Full HD + resolution. Many may not have liked it.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G will be a decent pioneer of relentless competition

The Samsung Galaxy A52 5G, or rather its LTE variants have to share very similar parameters. Users will be able to enjoy 6/8 GB of RAM, 128/256 GB of internal storage or a 6.5-inch Full HD + Infinity-O Super AMOLED display.

There will be a camera quartet on the back. The primary, 64 MP, will be complemented by a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, macro sensor and depth-of-field lens. In front, you will enjoy the presence of a 32 MP “selfie” camera.

The security feature, in the form of a fingerprint scanner, will be located directly below the display. The integrated 4500 mAh battery will be charged with a 25 W fast charger.

From the factory, the Android 11 operating system with the One UI 3.1 extension will be installed on the phone. The 5G version of the Galaxy A52 could cost around € 450, while the LTE version could cost around € 400. The mentioned smartphones in the article could be officially introduced this month. So what, are they giving you?
