108MP camera and 120Hz AMOLED screen
Xiaomi has announced the new Xiaomi 12 series device. We are introduced to the Xiaomi 12 Lite, which has now also been announced for outside China. Key features are the 108 megapixel camera and the 120Hz AMOLED screen.
Xiaomi 12 Lite presented
The Xiaomi 12S series was recently announced, but for now it doesn’t look like it will be released outside of China. In the meantime, the current 12 series is also being expanded with devices, as we see at Xiaomi in the form of the Xiaomi 12 Lite. The smartphone will receive a Snapdragon 778G chipset from Xiaomi, a processor that we previously encountered with the Samsung Galaxy A52 in the same segment.
Xiaomi supplies the Xiaomi 12 Lite with a 108 megapixel main camera, an 8 megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2 megapixel macro lens. The 4300 mAh battery of the device is charged with a power of 67W. Charging should take 41 minutes for a full battery. The screen is a 6.55 inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz. There is support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite comes with 6/8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. There is support for the 5G network and the price starts at 469 euros, as is clear from information for the German market. The device would be released internationally, but it is unclear whether the Netherlands and Belgium also fall under this.
