Motorola just announced the Moto G72. This phone has a 6.6-inch pOLED screen and 108 MP camera and costs 299.99 euros.
Moto G72
The Moto G family continues to expand. At the beginning of this year we saw the Moto G22, followed by the Moto G42, and the Moto G82. The Moto G72 was still missing and we can now add it to the list. It goes according to Motorola and powerhouse that takes incredibly detailed photos. The Moto G72 comes with a MediaTek Helio G99 chipset that we know from the Poco M5 and M5s and a 108 MP main camera. This sensor uses 9×1 pixel binning technology. The device therefore takes standard photos with a resolution of 12 MP.
The camera setup also consists of an 8 MP wide-angle camera and a 2 MP macro camera. With the wide-angle lens you can capture a lot more in a photo and the macro lens takes photos from very close. The wide-angle lens also functions as a depth camera that can take portrait photos in which the background of an object is blurred.
The phone has a 6.6-inch fullHD pOLED screen with HDR10+. The panel also has a 120Hz refresh rate and fairly thin bezels around it. Like most Motorolas, this G72 also has an IP rating of IP52, making the device dust and (partly) splash-proof.
The phone will be available in a variant with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of expandable storage. There are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and the same goes for the 3.5mm headphone jack. The large 5,000 mAh battery should last at least a day and comes with a 30W charger. The phone runs on Android 12 including Motorola’s proprietary MY UX software shell. It is very similar to a pure Android experience, with the exception of the handy gestures and personalization function that Motorola adds.

The Moto G72 will be in stores from the beginning of November for a suggested retail price of 299.99 euros in the color Meteorite Gray. The colors Mineral White and Polar Blue are only available online.
