Zelda Tears of the Kingdom: the sequel to Breath of the Wild reveals its release date

Following Breath of the Wild now has a title, it is The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. The game will be released on Switch on May 12, 2023, as announced during the Nintendo Direct.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will take you to the skies and an expansive world beyond, Nintendo explains. Expect Link’s immense adventure to resume with this new installment.

A video showing the gameplay of the game was also offered. It is not very long, but allowed to see elements of the game which were not present in the first opus and which had not been revealed with the first presentation videos.

Nintendo says no more for the moment, we will have to wait for the next few months to have other videos and more details. But at least we now have the name of the sequel to the new Zelda game on Switch, as well as a release date. Nintendo waited for the very end of its Nintendo Direct to discuss the title, which many players around the world awaited.

Then comes a question: will we have the right to a Switch Pro with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom ? Nintendo hasn’t said anything about it yet. So be patient.
