YouTube starts testing with handy queue function

A new useful addition is being tested in the YouTube app. This is a queue for the mobile apps. It was not yet possible to use this, but that may change.

The YouTube app for Android and iOS is getting a new feature, or at least it’s being tested with a new feature. The new option allows adding videos to the queue. Videos you put here are shown one after the other.

The feature is being tested specifically for the mobile apps. The functionality has been available on the website for some time. Incidentally, when you use the casting options, the function is also already offered. Incidentally, it seems that the feature is offered to those with a Premium subscription. This suggests that non-paying users are not offered the feature. According to the screenshots, the test seems to run until January 28, 2023.
