You have to try this cool Google DVD Easter egg!
Google has put a hilarious DVD Easter egg online. That brings back warm memories!
Unless you are very young, you can still make it to the DVD era. If you had the television on with the DVD player also on, but did not play a movie or series, a screensaver usually followed. That screensaver was the DVD logo that shoots from left to right and top to bottom. The joke was that the logo almost never hit the corners. The American version of The Office has already turned it into a brilliant scene.
Google has now come up with a funny DVD Easter egg from this principle. By entering a specific search query and waiting a moment you will end up in the easter egg. It works through Chrome, but we have also tested it successfully in Safari. Go to Google and search for DVD screensaver or DVD bouncing logo. Then wait about five seconds.
The easter egg will then start. The Google logo suddenly takes off and with this Easter egg simulates the DVD logo that goes in all directions. A nice nod to the good old days. If you don’t feel like trying it yourself, check the effect in the video below.
