Xiaomi unveils list of eligible devices and date of availability

During a conference held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, Xiaomi lifted the veil on the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro, its next smartphones, as well as on MIUI 13, the latest version of its overlay based on Android. In the process, the manufacturer has just released the roadmap for the deployment of MIUI 13.

As you know, Xiaomi occupied the media scene this Tuesday, December 28, 2021. On the occasion of a new conference held in China, the manufacturer presented its upcoming products, starting with the Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro, its next smartphones. The company has also lifted the veil on the Xiaomi Watch S1, its new connected watch, and on the Xiaomi Buds 3, wireless headphones with active noise reduction and “HiFi” quality sound.

But it was not at all, since the company presented in detail MIUI 13, the latest version of its Android-based overlay. On the program, 23% better fluidity of native applications, improved multitasking capabilities, better confidentiality and data protection (which includes a redesign of facial recognition), or even more extensive customization of Widgets.

So far we only knew that Xiaomi 12/12 Pro, Mi 11 and Mi 11 Pro, and Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 and Pad 5 Pro tablets were eligible for the new overlay. Nevertheless, the manufacturer had confirmed that other devices could migrate to MIUI 13. And precisely, Xiaomi has just unveiled the roadmap for the deployment of its overlay.

According to her, the first builds will be deployed in closed beta in China from December 29, 2021. A public beta is expected from January 2022, while the release of the global stable version will take place between the end of January and April 2022. Here is the list of smartphones and tablets eligible to receive MIUI 13 during the first half of 2022. Note that Xiaomi has not given more details regarding the availability dates for the different devices:
