A few hours ago, Xiaomi officially introduced its new technology for improved liquid cooling of mobile phones and other electronics called Xiaomi Loop LiquidCool Technology. The novelty aims to significantly overcome the existing similar principles of evaporation chambers. In contrast, it brings two significant differences, which, according to the first tests, they can do reduce the temperature of the loaded phone by more than 5 ° C.

While the currently used “vapor chambers” technology, aka “heat pipes”, allow for the flow of refrigerant throughout the circuit, Xiaomi Loop LiquidCool Technology separates liquid and gas in some way, which proved to be more effective. An interesting patent from Tesla using a “drop” shape of tubes is used to flow the liquid in the right direction.

As part of a demonstration of the new technology, Xiaomi installed its Loop LiquidCool to the MIX4 telephone and launched in it for maximum performance game Genshin Impact. You can see the result in the video. The Chinese company stated in the presentation that it will add new technology to its products from the second half of 2022. Of course, there will also be mobile phones.
