Xiaomi Mi Band 6 gets GPS and can handle chat apps
New information has emerged about a new watch from Xiaomi. According to sources, the new Mi Band 6 will have support for chat apps and GPS can be found in the device itself.
Mi Band 6 information surfaced
Xiaomi is working behind the scenes on the new Mi Band 6. The smartwatch should succeed the current Mi Band 5 that we discussed in detail in the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 review. From the code that has surfaced, we learn a lot about Xiaomi’s new watch. The Mi Band 6 will first of all have GPS support. This clue also surfaced earlier, and is now being confirmed once more. Until now, users have to use the GPS receiver in the smartphone for this.
Another feature rolled out to the Mi Band 6 is quick responses. These seem to be sent as an SMS if you want to respond quickly. The following texts have surfaced here;

According to reports, the Mi Band 6 is also being improved in terms of chat apps. The information says there should be more functionality for the messenger services, but much more is not clear about it. The new Xiaomi Mi Band 6 must also be able to measure oxygen saturation and voice assistant Amazon Alexa could also be found on the watch. It is also expected that it will get a larger screen and that this watch will be released again for an interesting price. The Mi Band 6 is expected around June.
