Xiaomi is rolling out MIUI 12.5 to Mi 10 series next quarter
Several smartphones from Xiaomi will be updated in the near future with an update to MIUI 12.5. Xiaomi has now provided some clarification on when this is about to happen.
MIUI 12.5 is on the way
Today there was the announcement of the new Mi 11 from Xiaomi. A television for the Benelux was also shown. However, the manufacturer had more news to report. In the coming months, the first Xiaomi devices will be updated with the MIUI 12.5 update. It is not entirely clear whether this also includes the Android 11 update, but we suspect it will. In January it became clear that 27 smartphones from the Chinese manufacturer would get the update to MIUI 12.5.
Xiaomi now announces that the first devices will be updated with the update in the second quarter of 2021. MIUI 12.5 will then appear first for the Xiaomi Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro, Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro. The second group of devices consists of 11 smartphones and will follow later. It has not been announced which devices these are, but these will inevitably also be devices that are not necessarily sold in the Netherlands. A date is not shared.
