Xiaomi has a new nemesis

When Xiaomi introduces new smartphones, the Chinese company primarily compares itself to Apple. The iPhone manufacturer is the measure of all things for Xiaomi, although Samsung, as the largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, is also a popular choice. But now there is a third company that wants to outperform Xiaomi.

Xiaomi compares itself to Google

Xiaomi always likes to use the stage when presenting new smartphones to compare it with other cell phones. Various areas are selected in which the Xiaomi cell phone is better. It mostly hits iPhones from Apple, occasionally Samsung too. Google is new with the Pixel phones. Xiaomi has now also recognized that the pixel smartphones are real competition. The Pixel 6a has actually become a real nemesis for Xiaomi, because the Google cell phone, which costs less than 400 euros, beat almost all other smartphones in the blind camera test. Including much more expensive models like the iPhone 14 Pro Max or the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra. And with the Pixel 7a, an even better Google cell phone is announced, which eliminates the disadvantages of its predecessor. What Xiaomi can do better than Google

Even if the pixel smartphones are getting better and better, Xiaomi has more on it in certain areas. For example, there are displays with a higher refresh rate, larger batteries and much more powerful charging technology. Xiaomi phones now charge up to 210 watts, while Google is stuck at just over 20 watts. In return, the Google cell phones score points in terms of software, camera and update policy. So it will be an exciting year in the middle class.
