Xiaomi follows up: New price-performance hits are coming

Xiaomi already has many smartphones on the market that basically cover all relevant price ranges. With Redmi and Poco, the Chinese company has other sub-brands that are also planning new smartphones. That’s exactly what Poco has now confirmed and could offer the Redmi 12 models at even lower prices.

Poco is planning new Android smartphones

Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco are all brands that belong together. Xiaomi usually launches new models under its own brand and under Redmi, which appear a little later as modifications of Poco cell phones at even lower prices. This is exactly what Himanshu Tandon from Poco in India has now officially announced. You’ve seen a lot of growth with the Poco 5 series, yes now it’s time for the new Poco 6 series:

Poco’s 5 series covers all possible price ranges. From the Poco M5s for 160 euros to the Poco F5 Pro 5G for 630 euros, everything is included. So if Xiaomi relaunches the Poco phones, then we can look forward to many new price-performance hits, which are technically at least similar to the Xiaomi phones. Most of the Poco models get a heavily modified design and thus differ significantly from the Xiaomi devices.

Unfortunately, Himanshu Tandon did not reveal exactly when the new Poco cell phones of the 6 generation will be presented. He just says that the new cell phones are coming soon. Included it primarily refers to the Indian market, but usually the Poco cell phones come to Germany relatively quickly. So we can expect a lot of new smartphones.

Xiaomi is also working on new phones

But not only Poco and Redmi are likely to bring some smartphones onto the market this year, Xiaomi itself is also planning big things. The next flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 14, should be available this year, at least in China. Xiaomi clearly sets itself apart from the cheap smartphones of its other brands.
