Xiaomi 14 Pro renders appeared online: very thin bezels
Lekkers has posted renders of the Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone online. It’s not out yet, we don’t even know when it’s coming, but what can be seen, that its thin bezels, so shows Ice Universe.

The Xiaomi 14 Pro has already been teased by Xiaomi itself: we wrote a few weeks ago that a designer already gave something away about the new smartphone. For example, the design would be very similar to that of the Mi 11 Ultra, but with a slightly more impressive design. That design seems to be mainly in those thinner edges.
Compared to the 13 Pro, the 14 Pro has a narrower edge, especially at the bottom, which is nice: it ensures that the front of the phone is completely balanced in terms of edges. All edges are the same number of millimeters thick. That is also where the excitement and sensation with regard to the design ends for the time being: the device is just like a Xiaomi 13 Pro at the front (but many phones look the same from the front these days).
Snapdragon 8 Gen 3
Yet there is more to tell about this new Xiaomi. Digital Chat Station reports that there is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor in the device. This is the very latest chip from Qualcomm now available for Android phones. Furthermore, little new under the sun when it comes to specifications: a 5000 mAh battery, fast charging at 120 Watt, wireless charging at 50 Watt and probably a periscopic lens at the back (which is slightly more special than other smartphones).
Furthermore, the back of the device is most likely ceramic and there would be a second screen on that back with which you can see weather updates, pause your music or read notifications from, for example, messaging apps. That would be special, and on the one hand sounds handy: if you place the device on the table with its face down, you are still aware of what is going on. But if you’re on the train, the person in front of you may not need to read along with you. Although, most likely when the phone is unlocked you will not see any sensitive information on the screen on the other hand.
We think Xiaomi 14 Pro will be announced in the second half of 2023, along with the regular Xiaomi 14. Are you looking forward to these phones? Leave it now in the comments.
