Xiaomi will globally launch its Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro on February 26. The phones were previously announced in China, but we will find out that day which models and colors are comparable with us and for what price.

Xiaomi 13 launch
It was pretty quiet around Xiaomi in January, because the Chinese company has already presented its brand new Xiaomi 13 series in its home country in the fall of 2022. The specifications of the phones are therefore already known. This month, Xiaomi breaks the silence and we get to know the latest details at the global launch of the flagships.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro is the most luxurious model of the series. It has a 6.73 inch QHD+ AMOLED panel. An LTPO screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a higher brightness of 1,900 nits. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, but it is not yet known which storage variants will be available here.
1 inch camera sensor
The most special thing about the Xiaomi 13 Pro is its 50-megapixel main camera, which was developed together with the camera company Leica. The phone uses a 1 inch camera: one with a larger sensor than the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. Whether that also produces better photos remains to be seen. In addition to this main sensor, the 13 Pro has a 50-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. The latter brings up to 3x optical zoom.

Prize in the Netherlands and Belgium
If the Xiaomi 13 series is presented on March 26, expect the phones to be in stores sometime during March. We can only speculate about the price for now. The Xiaomi 12 Pro cost 1099 euros last year and you paid 899 euros for the Xiaomi 12 base model. The brand then also had a cheaper Xiaomi 12X variant that cost 699 euros.
