Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro coming to Europe: specifications and prices leaked
Xiaomi now has the 12 series as high-end models in Europe; the series will soon be expanded with the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro. Both models are now in the news.
Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro are on the way
We can expect two new smartphones from Xiaomi. According to the latest information, the manufacturer would soon like to present the new Xiaomi 12T and the Xiaomi 12T Pro for the European market. This is in contrast to the previously presented Xiaomi 12S series that has not seen the light in Europe.
Thanks to the usually well-informed source Winfuture, we learn all we need to know about the two smartphones. So it concerns the Xiaomi 12T and the 12T Pro, both of which will be equipped with a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2712 x 1220 pixels. This resolution is between the Full-HD+ and Quad-HD+ resolution. Both have a 120Hz refresh rate and are equipped with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro
Xiaomi supplies the 12T and the 12T Pro with a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Information about wireless charging is not yet known. The Xiaomi 12T models are not equipped with an aluminum housing (as was the case with the 12S), but with a plastic frame.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro comes with a 200 megapixel camera. It is one of the few devices with this lens; we already saw it with the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. It may be the same sensor, with a light sensitivity of f/1.69. The camera is equipped with OIS. In the normal model, the 12T, we see a 108 megapixel main camera. Both models come with an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP selfie lens and a 2MP selfie camera. It is striking that a telephoto lens is missing.
The Xiaomi 12T
The Pro model gets a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, along with 8GB/12GB RAM and 256GB storage. With the 12T we will probably see a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra processor, with 8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB storage space.
Xiaomi would price the Xiaomi 12T at 650 euros. The Xiaomi 12T Pro will cost 850 euros; a price close to the closest competitor; the aforementioned Motorola Edge 30 Ultra. An exact announcement date has not yet been shared by the manufacturer.
