Microsoft has announced that the tech giant’s gaming division had a record year in 2021. Xbox was able to earn $ 16.28 billion and has thus reached a new milestone.

Xbox set a personal revenue record in 2021 and with it exceeded the previous year by a whopping 17.7 percent. (Source: Microsoft). As industry analyst Daniel Ahmad noted on Twitter, revenue from content and services increased 8.8 percent year-on-year, while hardware sales soared 63.3 percent.
Thus it can be said that both the Game Pass service and the Xbox Series X|S were critical to the success of the past year have contributed.
