In the case of Wonder Woman from the Monolith studio, this was done until the gala evening of The Game Awards, and moderator Geoff Keighley did not dare to comment on the whole situation. In fact, it was probably the biggest surprise we’ve had, although – as in Star Wars: Eclispe or Alan Wake 2 – we still know only the most basic.
Paradoxically, most of the time, he has revealed the caption under the first teaser on YouTube, which talks about an action adventure set in the open world. The main heroine will have the task of uniting the empires of the people and the Amazons and facing up against the threat that threatens her home. Wonder Woman will be a single player game with a strong focus on the story and its gradual gradation, which will naturally take place through fights with a number of enemies.
At this point, it is worth recalling that the authors of the Monolith studio were famous not only for the FEAR shooter, but also for the pair of Lord of the Rings action games – Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War. The common feature of both of these titles is the Nemesis system, which takes care of enemy management, their hierarchy and development in a unique way, and Wonder Woman will come across it in her upcoming game.
As for the trailer, it doesn’t provide much clues to look forward to. Diana’s mother, Hippolyta, urges her daughter to return home and defend her country. “You are a heroine, but you can be something bigger. You can be a leader, “Wonder Woman hears, and we have no doubt that she will respond to the call for help. Of course, she will also be served by the faithful whip she wields in the show, and we guess that Diana will look as stylish in all this as in the film adaptations.
Nothing else, the expected release date or target platform, yet published by Warner Bros. did not finish. This in itself suggests that development is just beginning and the game may arrive in two or three years.
