Are you tired of all those advertisements on websites? Sometimes websites are so full of often screaming offers that you don’t feel like reading the page at all.

Fortunately, there is a fairly simple solution for this: install an ad blocker. But which ad blocker is the best on iPhone? There are now so many to download on your iPhone that it is difficult to make a good choice.

Some ad blockers are no longer updated (think BlockBear for example!) and others just don’t work properly. This is not the case with the Wipr app, because this ad blocker receives regular updates and blocks almost most advertisements in Safari. This way you can still use Wipr in future updates of iOS 16. This is how you set up the ad blocker Wipr on iPhone

After you have installed Wipr, you must first launch the app. Then tap on the button you see and wait for a compass to appear with the message ‘Enjoy a cleaner web’.

Then go to the ‘Settings’ of your iPhone. Scroll down and tap Safari > Extensions. Check if the slider is on next to ‘Wipr – Part 1’, ‘Wipr – Part 2’ and ‘Wipr – Part 3’. Isn’t that so? Then you have to enable these options.

After that, it is best to also set Safari on your iPhone to use Wipr as an ad blocker on every website. To do this, tap:

• Open ‘Settings’;
• Scroll down and tap on ‘Safari’;
• Scroll down and choose ‘Material Blocks’;
• Set the slider at ‘All websites’ to on.

Do you still want to see the advertisements on a website, because otherwise the page will not load? Then open the website and tap the ‘aA’ button in the address bar in Safari. Then choose ‘Disable material blockers’.

For a website (such as iPhoned) to always allow advertisements to be shown, open the website and choose ‘Websites settings’ in the menu. Then set the slider at ‘Use material blocks’ to off.
