Windows 11 critical flaws: download this essential update!

A “0 day” flaw is an unprecedented vulnerability: an entirely new method of penetrating a computer. They are called like that, because this type of weak point does not count a single day since its discovery. It is therefore a critical danger that absolutely must be corrected. That’s good, because Microsoft has recently offered a patch that fixes 77 flaws, 9 of which are very problematic and three “0 day” reviews. If you have Windows 11, quickly go to the Windows Update part of the OS to make the changes. Most of the time this happens on its own, but you may have disabled automatic updates for peace of mind.

Three critical flaws to patch!

The first critical fault responds to the sweet name of CVE-2023-21823. The latter allows hackers to claim and obtain administrator privileges on the system with all the consequences that ensue. It mainly affects the Microsoft Store: you will have to go to the app then go to Library > Get updates > Update everything to correct the situation if you have disabled automatic updating.

The second flaw, dubbed CVE-2023-23376, would also make it possible to obtain system privileges on the target machine.

The latest – CVE-2023-21715 – targets Microsoft Publisher, the American firm’s layout solution. A hacker could try to get the victim to download a malicious file using a social engineering method. We won’t know more…
