Will you become a fan of: these delicious choco coco bounty bites

For 9 pieces | preparation time 30 minutes + 4 hours to set

Required

  • 150 g grated coconut + extra for garnish
  • 2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 2 tbsp agave syrup
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 100 g dark chocolate (minimum 80% cocoa)

That’s how you make it

  1. Heat a large frying pan and roast the grated coconut while stirring in light beige for about 5 minutes.
  2. Let cool on a plate.
  3. Place the coconut, coconut oil, agave syrup, vanilla extract and salt in a food processor and blend briefly.
  4. Line the baking pan with baking paper. Spoon in the coconut mixture, smooth and place in the freezer for about 4 hours.
  5. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie.
  6. Line a baking tray with baking paper or place the baking paper on the counter. Cut the coconut into 9 large bites and dip them halfway into the melted chocolate using a cocktail stick or by hand. Put them on the paper.
  7. Sprinkle half of the chocolate with the extra grated coconut.
  8. Store the bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
