Google refuses to include Donald Trump’s Truth Social in the Play Store. This is why.

Donald Trump was a fanatic Twitter user but disagreed with the platform’s policies. That’s why the former president of America started his own app called Truth Social. Basically a copy of Twitter, with the focus on freedom of expression.

Because of the complete freedom of the users on the network, it is chaos. There is hardly any control and people can say what they want. Reason for Google to refuse Truth Social as an app in the Play Store. The American tech company believes that the app’s violent content is reason to refuse admission. Axios reports about this.

Trump will therefore have to find another way to bring his app to the attention. He probably won’t have much time for that. The app would go bad and Truth Social would be on the verge of bankruptcy. After all, a free app needs advertisers. No income without advertisers. And without revenue, no app. Perhaps the platform will make some adjustments to still pass the Google committee.

In short, Donald Trump’s Truth Social seems doomed. Nobody saw that coming.
