Where is that Bitcoin year-end rally?
Less than a week and then 2021 will have come to an end. The big question is whether there will be another Bitcoin year-end rally.
As the end of the year gets closer, the chance is of course smaller and smaller. Today is Christmas Day and in exactly one week it will be January 1, 2022. That means that Bitcoin has six days left to climb very hard for a so-called year-end rally.
Earlier this year, various analysts predicted a possible price of 100,000 dollars for one BTC in 2021. Then the cryptocurrency should rise one hundred percent in those six days. Nothing is impossible in the world of crypto. However, there are no direct indicators that this is about to happen.
The absence of an increase is also not true. Bitcoin has climbed quite a bit in the past five days, call it a mini year-end rally. From a trough of $45,000, the coin climbed to $51,500 on Coindesk. That has now resulted in a minor correction and the coin is now dangling at a rounded $50,900. Will there be another Bitcoin year-end rally? The chances don’t seem very high. But who knows what they have in store for the crypto coin in this last week of 2021.
