Google has officially announced Android 12, but when will all phones get the update? We have made an overview of the phones that get Android 12 and that for all brands that are active in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Android 12 update overview

Google did give the starting shot for the stable version of Android 12 on October 4, but no device had yet received the update. Even the Pixel phones would have to wait until October 19 for the update.

Now it’s up to all other manufacturers to update their phones. Some do this first with a stopover: a public beta in which errors are removed from the software. But most brands mainly test internally and immediately roll out a stable update. In this overview you will discover the Android 12 update plans of each brand in the Netherlands and Belgium.

How do I read this update overview?

We have listed every manufacturer in the Netherlands alphabetically and you can then discover which phones receive the Android 12 update and which do not. As soon as a manufacturer communicates when the update for a type of phone will be rolled out, you can read that in the place of the three question marks. Sometimes there are uncertainties about a brand’s strategy, which is why there is the category: ‘These may be getting the update’. We will also update the article for those phones as soon as more information is available.
