When is FIFA 22 coming out? All information about the release
The life cycle of FIFA 21 is slowly coming to an end and with FIFA 22 the successor EA Sports is of course already in the starting blocks. But when will the latest FIFA offshoot actually appear?

FIFA 22 – when is the release?
In the past few years, all football fans usually already knew about the release of the new FIFA offshoot in June. Unfortunately it’s different this time. At the moment there is no official information about FIFA 22. Neither the release date, licenses nor features are currently known.
However, there is also good news: Fortunately, the current information hole could fill up on July 22, 2021, because on this day EA organizes the online event “EA Play Live”, at which new games from the developer and publisher are to be officially presented. The chance is accordingly high that FIFA 22 will finally be presented there and a release date will be announced in the course of the event.
What was the release date of the last FIFA parts?
At the “EA Play Live” event, the release date of FIFA 22 should also be known. Due to the lack of official information from EA, a possible release date can currently only be speculated. However, it stands to reason that the new football simulation should probably appear in autumn 2021, probably between September and October. This publication period is already a tradition at EA, since since FIFA 2003 the sports games have always appeared in this period.
In the following list you can see the release dates of the last few years:
- FIFA 17 was released on September 27, 2016
- FIFA 18 was released on September 29, 2017
- FIFA 19 was released on September 28, 2018
- FIFA 20 was released on September 24, 2019
- FIFA 21 was released on October 9, 2020
The data refer to the official market release for all players. With some offshoots it happened that some players were able to play the latest FIFA game a few days earlier because they had a subscription to the “EA Play” service. It remains to be seen whether this will also be the case with FIFA 22.
Some parts of FIFA are always officially released on Fridays, so it seems reasonable to assume that FIFA 22 could be released on September 27th or October 4th, 2021. Note, however, that it is pure speculation.
On which platforms will FIFA 22 appear?
Since an extremely large number of players do not yet own the current generation of consoles, i.e. the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X, you can assume that FIFA 22 will appear on all common platforms. EA will insist on supplying the majority of the players on the older consoles as well.
Therefore, it is actually to be expected that FIFA 22 will appear on the PS5, PS4, Xbox One X | S, Xbox One, PC and the Nintendo Switch. Nevertheless, it should be noted that this is also just pure speculation.
