WhatsApp unlocks companion mode
WhatsApp has been working on a new feature for a long time that will allow you to use Messenger on multiple devices with one number. This has been possible with tablets and PCs since the end of 2021. Even then, however, it was clear that WhatsApp would also like to create the possibility of using the messenger on two smartphones at the same time. Exactly this function has now been made available for some users unlocked the beta version of WhatsApp for Android (Source: WABetaInfo).
If you have a second smartphone and want to chat with WhatsApp from your first account, you don’t have to enter the number when setting up the messenger on the second device, but go to the settings and there establish a connection to another smartphone. As soon as you have activated the second cell phone through your main device, the chats on both smartphones will be synchronized. This also works with PCs and tablets. So, true multi-device support is taking shape, and you’ll soon be able to unleash its full potential across all your devices.

New WhatsApp feature still in development
As mentioned above, the WhatsApp feature has only appeared in beta for some users so far. The company will now test the feature closely, because the synchronization of chats and content is particularly important when it comes to this function. After all, everything must appear on the devices at the same time if you have already connected two cell phones and maybe a tablet and a PC. A real tablet app is also coming. The entire range of functions can therefore soon be used.
