WhatsApp rolls out a new design for calling
Every now and then WhatsApp rolls out a new design for certain functions, now it is the turn of group calling.
The messaging service is known for the familiar design with the familiar colors. Sometimes the company changes things, but it’s not earth-shattering. Now that is the case. The design of group bubbles is being adjusted. And that’s handy, because we make group calls more and more.
New design group calling WhatsApp
WABetaInfo was again one of the first to find out in a beta version. It also becomes a lot more functional, because you immediately see who is talking in a group conversation. This is made clear by the sound waves you see next to each participant in the conversation.
People who are in the conversation are reflected in the profile picture of those who are participating. The background of this has also been adjusted, because it was previously black. This has been adapted to the well-known green WhatsApp color. You can also see the well-known drawings of the messaging service. Below you can find a screenshot of what the function will look like.
The feature is not immediately available to everyone. It will be rolled out to beta users first. After that, it will come to all of us in WhatsApp in phases.
