WhatsApp: multiple accounts on the same phone?
A few months ago, WhatsApp gave its users the possibility of using their account on several devices thanks to the Companion mode. A powerful feature, which could therefore be supplemented by the possibility of having several accounts on the same device. If for now the option is still under developmentshe still seems to be on the right track.
A novelty in the logic of Meta
The novelty was spotted by WABInfo on a closed beta of WhatsApp Business. In version 2.23.13.5 of the application for Android, messaging has added the ability for users to switch between multiple accounts from a single device. A feature in the logic of Meta messaging applications, which favor the management of several profiles directly from a single application. For example, Messenger has for several years made it easy to switch between multiple accounts, such as between a personal account and a Facebook or Instagram page account.

A feature only for WhatsApp Business?
In this logic, WhatsApp will therefore allow its users to manage several accounts directly from the same device. A logical update, which will allow WhatsApp Business users to be able to manage their professional and personal accounts from the same smartphone with a simple switch.
For the time being, this novelty is only in development on a closed beta of WhatsApp Business. However, everything suggests that this option will eventually be available to all users of the messaging application. Rather practical, therefore, especially if you use several SIM cards on the same smartphone.
To access this update, you must download whatsapp business from the Play Store and be a member of the testing program of the app. However, this program does not currently accept any new testers. So be patient, the update should take place in the coming months!
